Beginning with a venture into aluminium die casting, in 1985, the Jain group successfully established operations in engineering products for the automobile industry. With plastics making its way in all phases of industry, the Jains, foresaw a vast potential in plastics for the booming automobile and consumer durable industry. Their vision had sown the seeds of what was to be a successful foray into plastics. Consequently Varroc Engineering was born in the year 1990.

Located at Waluj, Aurangabad, Varroc Engineering Private Limited (VEPL) started as a single location, single division plant for the manufacture of injection moulded products. VEPL soon consolidated, expanded, diversified and emerged as one of the leading processor of plastics in western India with multi-locational, multi-divisional operations encompassing plastic injection moulding. Further diversified to PU foam seats, multilayer sheet extrusion, rubber moulding, rubber and PVC extrusion. Expanded its wings to flywheel magneto assembly, starter motor and CDI regulator at Aurangabad for which it has a technical tie up with M/s. Mitsuba, Japan.

Having Plastic moulding components at Pune division and lighting division at Pune, which are the hubs of industrial activity in automobiles, engineering and consumer durables, gives a group a strategic advantage.

Mr. Naresh Chandra Jain, Mr. Tarang Jain and Mr. Anurang Jain are the chief promoters of the company.

To cater to the increasing business, in 1995 VEPL promoted Mouldcraft (Hindustan) Private Limited It is a state-of-the-art plastic injection moulding and multilayer sheet extrusion facility, set up a Pharola in Paithen, Aurangabad. All machines here are microprocessor controlled to ensure accuracy and repeatability.

With an average annual growth rate of over 45% p.a., VEPL is poised for a preeminence in plastics in India.
